Lecture to Explore a Fossil Fuel-Free World
Amory Lovins will demonstrate how “Reinventing Fire” can change minds and clarify choices by showing what exists, what works, what makes sense and makes money, what can change the world during his free lecture at 2 p.m. March 5 in UCSB's Corwin Pavilion.

Coach Sam "The Rock" Adams passes away
Sam Adams, retired UCSB head coach and former assistant at Westmont College, died on Monday evening January 11.

UCSB Climbs National Rankings
UCSB was recently ranked number 11 in the list of “Top 50 Public National Universities” and number 42 in “Best National Universities,” according to the U.S. News & World Report’s annual assessment of America's top universities.
